Stooge: Cards

This app turns your phone into a secret assistant that discreetly shares information with you.

You place the phone on the table, and the app begins carefully observing the scene through the camera. As soon as a playing card appears in view, it immediately notifies you:

• if you use wireless headphones — the app will speak the card aloud
• if you have a WearOS watch (Android) or an Apple Watch (iPhone) — the card will appear in the companion app; you can configure vibrations for specific cards
• if you have another wearable device that supports notifications (smartwatch, fitness tracker, etc.) — you will receive a text notification with the card name

With this tool, you can perform many tricks. It allows you to “peek” at cards in the most natural way: see the bottom card of the deck after shuffling (with an earbud — even with your eyes closed), identify the card the spectator holds above the table, and much more.

If you work with a memorized deck, the app becomes a powerful and convenient addition to your technique.
